I'm trying to decide whether the animation looks better with or without the vintage frame, I personally like frame but not sure so feedback and opinions are very much appreciated!
Without frame - I find it very distracting. Use a vignette instead something that isn't so 'on top of the film' - in Premiere, you can find a real nice vignette effect under the Lumetri settings - I think this would look much more in keeping with your vintage film aesthetic... I don't think any 1930s films I can recall have a static frame around them like this?!
Thank you! I was looking at it again throughout the day and I didn't really like how it just seems out of place, thank you I will try the vignette! ^_^
I think with frame!:)

DeleteHey Danielle, I think maybe try a rounded rectangle vignette, you can do this in after effects pretty easily :)
